This is how I turn on my Phantom: 1.Turn on controller 2.Turn on range extender 3.Turn on Phantom 4.Calibrate Phantom This is what I do to start flying: 1.I connect my iPhone with WiFi to "Phantom" network. 2.I can receive live camera feed on iPhone so everything is good and working fine, all signals and calibration are good.
In order to view the video on your phone after shooting you will need to sync the data with your phone over the Phantom Wi-Fi, this will take ages to sync, well over half an hour, then you can view the video from the album if your phone will play HD video. The Phantom saves photos and video to the micro SD card in the camera only. 2015-2-18. The Phantom 4 drone itself looks and feels like a high quality product. The blades attach quickly and easily, and the drone body feels like it could take a bump or two and remain unscathed. The camera and gimble are obviously more fragile, and require a protective guard to be used when transporting the drone.

Offline. 4#. The Vision plus only supports up to 32Gb cards. You can get it to recognize 64Gb but for that you'd need to format it with FAT32 which takes some special tools. Even if it works the question is how reliable is it and is it worth the risk to lose data just to use a 64Gb card?

b) Method 2: Using DJI Assistant 2 1. Connect your smart controller to a PC using a USB Type-C cable with the controller powered off. 2. Power on the remote controller. 3. Launch DJI Assistant 2, and log in using a DJI account. 4. Click GRC, and then the firmware update button on the left side. 5. Select and confirm the firmware version. 6.
Once you have the view from your camera in the app click on the setting button in the lower right side. Once the camera options are visible on the left side of the screen scroll to the bottom of the options and you should see an image of an SD card. By selecting the SD card image/icon it should prompt you to reformat and then follow on-screen
Phantom 3 Professional Firmware v1.4.0010 and IOS 2.3 and worked pretty good. Now the camera went into overheat mode and it's not operational, called DJI and requested RMA. Looks like this camera has limited life. Update this Fourm after its at DJI us and they diagnostic the root cause. Best regards, Steve
phantom 2 vision (updated firmware + updated camera firmware) iphone 5 with iOS7 app v. 1.0.43 procedure: turn off mobile, except for wifi (airplane mode) turn on the control turn on the wifi extender turn on phantom connect to phantom wifi. at this point the mobile connects to phantom, but shows only data and album, but not the live feed (FPV).

It's been a while since I've flown my P2V+ and I'm having problems with WiFi. I have the latest updates for the drone, remote, and app, but I'm not seeing any WiFi signal. Drone is powered, gimbal seems to be functioning, camera LED Indicator is green. I've searched for a signal from my iPhone 6, iPad Air 2 and Mac.

Once the extender is reset connect to the phantom_XXXX wifi and then open the Dji app go into settings and bindings and choose new camera and enter the MAC address you obtained earlier. Click the top blue button and exit settings and close the app. Now wait, the range extender will reset itself. But I'm not sure that is really what is needed given the problem I'm experiencing. I have the current firmware loaded in the Phantom using the Phantom 2 Vision+ Assistant Software v3.8. The P2V+ flies just fine, with or without the camera on it. But the camera will not link up with my iPhone. Any ideas? #1 My camera is not transmitting to my android phone or iPad. Says connection lost. I have replaced the WiFi module and have preformed binding to the range extender. Still the same message. When I replaced the module, I found the module in the bird had a dent in it, from a bad crash. However, the camera worked on a flight last fall after the crash. The server shutdown time will be announced separately. Looking ahead, DJI will continue to provide the best tools and services for users and developers. * Important: Use the Input function in the “Tools” of the Assistant Software to input the “PHANTOM Default Configuration Parameters”. * Go to DJI Wiki for release history! Power cycle the phantom after making the choice and then plug the USB cable into the TX unit and run the asst software. In their do a full calibration of the sticks and the X1 channel. Then plug the USB back into the phantom and do a TX calibration in basic/rc tab. Let me know if this makes it work. 2015-3-1. LQ0Pio.
