Recently, I got to ask Lise a few questions about what it’s like to play this masterpiece. Calvin Dotsey: How would you describe Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 2 to someone who has never heard Piano Recital by Lise de la Salle. The performance will run for about 1 hour 30 minutes including a 15-minute intermission. Audience is strongly advised to arrive punctually.
